Compress PDF, Convert PDF to JPG or PNG, and Merge PDFs Online
Need to make a PDF smaller, turn its pages into images, or combine documents into one file? These are different tasks, so first check the format and size the receiving website or person requires. AIDocToolHub PDF Studio brings PDF compression, PDF-to-image conversion and PDF merging together in one browser-based workspace.
How to compress a PDF for an upload limit
Open PDF Compressor and select a suitable target preset, such as 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB, if it matches the portal's stated limit. Add the PDF, review the available settings and export a copy. Compression results depend on the source: a scan or image-heavy PDF may not reach an exact target without reducing image clarity. Check the downloaded file's actual size and inspect small text, signatures and stamps before submitting it. Keep your original document as a backup.
For more detail, read the guide to compressing a PDF under 100 KB.
Convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG
Open PDF to JPG/PNG and select all pages or only the pages you need. JPG is often useful for photographs and smaller image files; PNG can preserve sharp edges in text and diagrams. Choose an output resolution appropriate for the task: higher DPI produces larger images, while low resolution may make small print difficult to read. Preview and open the downloaded image to verify it. For multiple pages, download the images together as a ZIP. Image conversion creates page pictures, not editable document text.
See the full PDF to JPG or PNG conversion guide for resolution and format tips.
Merge PDFs into one document
Open Merge PDFs and add the PDFs in the order you want. Review the queue and use its move controls to adjust the order or remove a file. Supported image files can also be included in the merge queue; each image is placed on an A4 page, and the image-size control adjusts its fit. Set an output filename and merge. Open the resulting PDF and confirm that all pages appear in the expected sequence and are readable.
For organizing existing PDF pages, read the PDF merge and reorder guide.
Which PDF tool should you choose?
Use compression when an upload limit is the problem, JPG or PNG when an image file is requested, and PDF merge when several documents must be delivered as one PDF. These outputs are not interchangeable: converting to images may increase file size, and merging does not necessarily reduce it. Check the recipient's file type, page, resolution and size requirements before processing.
Review your files and protect privacy
PDF Studio processes files in the browser, without requiring them to be uploaded to a processing server. For sensitive documents, use a trusted device and avoid leaving downloaded copies on shared computers. Always review the output before sharing or submitting it.
