How to Print 2 PDF Pages on One A4 Sheet with Preview
Need to print two certificates, forms or notes on one A4 sheet? The Custom PDF Print tool lets you preview the sheet before downloading a print-ready PDF. You can also put just one PDF page on each A4 sheet when you need a larger copy.
Put two PDF pages on one A4 sheet
- Open Custom PDF Print and upload your PDF.
- Choose 2 pages under Pages per sheet.
- Select A4 landscape for side-by-side pages or A4 portrait for top-and-bottom pages.
- Check the sheet preview. Use Previous and Next to inspect every sheet.
- Click Download print PDF, then print it at Actual size or 100% in your PDF viewer.
Make small content easier to read
Some PDFs have a small document in the middle of a large white page. Leave Trim blank PDF margins on to fit the actual content inside its A4 space. Adjust Print scale from 50% to 150% if needed. Print scale changes the downloaded PDF; Preview zoom only changes what you see on screen. At more than 100%, content outside its allotted area is cropped, so check the preview first.
Print selected pages and control spacing
Open “Page range, order, gap and saved settings” to print only the pages you need. Enter a range such as 1-10, 13. For two-page sheets, choose whether the first page goes on the left/top or right/bottom. Set the gap between pages from 0 to 20 mm if you plan to cut them apart. You can save these settings in your browser and load them later.
Print one PDF page per A4 sheet
Choose 1 page under Pages per sheet. Then pick A4 portrait or landscape, use No margins or With margins, and set the print scale you want. This is useful for forms that should stay on separate sheets.
Before using the printer
No margins removes margins from the generated A4 PDF. A physical printer may still leave an unprinted edge unless it supports borderless printing. For a regular printer, choose With margins if the preview reaches the page edge. The tool makes the PDF in your browser and does not require OCR.
